It all started in 2016… This is the life story of Sweetlights Candles…
(It took me 4 years to put these words together)

After dedicating 12 years of my life as a professional Body Piercer and Tattooist, my life took a drastic turn on the 8th of May 2016 when I experienced a miscarriage during my third month of pregnancy. This heartbreaking event left an indelible mark on my life that still lingers to this day. People often advise to move on, but how does one truly move on from such a profound loss? A part of me perished along with that experience. One moment, I was filled with happiness, and the next, I was torn apart.

I had to mourn in my own way. I stopped going to work and shifted focus towards more artistic things that I loved the most. This is how my little ventures started… My new kind of baby which is… Sweetlights Candles! The name Sweetlights Candles came from my sweet little baby that gave me light. Sweetlight.

I focused all my energy, and creativity in my own world of candles. My Husband, My Son, and My Mother, were my pillars that supported me and pushed me to put my innovative creations to the local market.

That is how I introduced Sweetlights Candles, a new sweet concept of luxury speciality candles, scrumptious and highly aromatic with decadent creations. It is a local Maltese product, each candle is handcrafted with care, quality and attention to detail which are all originally created by me.

I cater to any occasion from Birthdays, Holy Communions, Baptisms, Weddings, Corporate Gifts, and many more. They are beautifully designed fragranced candles that are perfect to gift, with over 170 scents to choose from, including our signature scents Sweetlights, which is elegant and yet so sweet!

The fun part is that each candle can be uniquely designed and created, by theme, colour, embellishment and scent accordingly.
